Titus 1:9 (ESV): "He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it."
We are so excited to announce our Apologetics class! In Apologetics, we will learn to speak the truth in love, studying what it means to grow in Christ and defend our faith.
The class will be separated into three parts:
1. Doctrine (June 24) - In this first session, we will focus on the core tenants of the Christian faith, overviewing who God is, studying his nature, and overviewing what this means for his creation and us as followers of Christ.
2. Disagreements (July 8) - In the second session, we will study many of the most prominent arguments against Christianity and how the world seeks to refute what we discussed in Session 1. We will look at which assumptions underly these disagreements.
3. Defense (August 5) - In our final session, we will work on defending against these arguments, studying how to stand firm in our faith and interact with those who disagree. We will learn how to engage with a sinful world as we are transformed in Christ.
